Comedian Jamie Roberts

www.jamieroberts.com

Jamie Roberts is a name synonymous with many things including determined, focused and laugh out loud funny. Possessing a persona that warms up the crowd and brings down the house, Jamie’s comedic timing and ability to turn any situation humorous has made him into one to watch in the coming years. From film, to the stage, Jamie is a comic’s comic – you never know what he may say or do next.

Jamie began his journey in Amityville, New York, where being funny was just part of being Jamie. After being crowned the ‘Funniest Person’ in his senior class, he realized that comedy was where he belonged. However, the journey would not be as light-hearted and free. In order for his comedy career to take off, Jamie knew he would have to hit the mean streets of New York City.

In 2001, this young stand-up comedian was able to win-over the judges at Stand Up NY. This was the first time Jamie performed at a major venue in New York City and his talent was confirmed when they named him the ‘Funniest Person from the Suburbs. Ever since then, he has been pushing forward, continuing to make strives in the comedic world with performances in the New York City Tri-state area, Hollywood and Atlanta.

In January 2005, Jamie made history by becoming the first non-Latino to produce the Latino Laughter comedy show at the World Famous New York Comedy Club. Along with producing the show, he was also the club’s weekly Saturday night host for 10 straight months. This was no surprise to some industry insiders, whom he established a report for his tenacity and ambition.

Jamie soon went on to produce a string of independent shows in the New York Tri-State area. The crowds followed him wherever he went; from Jamie’s Back- 45 minutes of Just Jamie to The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Show at The World Famous Supper Club in New York City. In March 2005, Jamie’s incredible appeal caught the eye of clothing designer Paul Aarrington, leading him to sign a clothing deal as one of the new faces for Paul Aarrington New York.

Jamie is currently the Executive Producer and weekly Host of the longest running Sunday show in NYC, Sunday Night Live. With his clean-cut good looks, insatiable charm and cutting edge comedy, Jamie Roberts is one not to be missed. There is no stage too big and no feat unconquerable in Jamie Roberts’ world.

Andrew Schulz

Andrew was born and raised in Manhattan, NY but started his stand-up comedy career in Santa Barbara, California. While attending The University of California at Santa Barbara, he managed a restaurant that had a comedy night.  The woman who produced the night, Louise Palanker, asked Andrew if he had any interest in performing. Andrew took the opportunity and hasn’t stopped performing since. He returned from school one month later and began to work himself into the New York comedy circuit. Andrew got his start in New York at the Comedy Village. Although he only had a few months experience he soon found himself performing with the top acts in the city.  In search of more stage time Andrew began to play New York’s  infamous “Chitlan Circuit.”  He gives full credit to the comedian “Smokey” for giving him an opportunity to get on stage and grow comedically. After the Comedy Village closed down, Andrew branched off to the other clubs in the city.  He credits Comic, Calise Hawkins, for providing him with stage time and knowledge about the New York comedy circuit.  In 2008, Andrew started his own show at the Village Lantern; a show which he still runs today with comedian Mike Rogan every Tuesday at 9:30.

Currently, Andrew Schulz is the host of the television show “Certified” on the Music Choice network.  In the summer of 2008 he performed in the prestigious Edinburgh Comedy Festival in Scotland.  He is finishing the filming of a sitcom pilot called “Rise of the Radio Show” and is creating a web series.

Bobby Johnson

www.bobbyjohnson.com

BOBBY JOHNSON is a regular on the NYC circuit performing at the hottest clubs including “The Times Square Arts Center” and “Caroline’s on Broadway.” He entertains audiences on “The Tyra Banks Show,” and FOX TV’s, “Morning Show with Mike and Juliet.” He can also be heard daily on top NYC radio station 98.7 KISS FM’s morning show, “The KISS Wake Up Club.” He has a featured segment entitled “Bobby Johnson Walks Through The NYC Yellow Pages.” He crank calls unsuspecting businesses as one of his many personalities and takes them on a ride they won’t soon forget.

Bobby who is the most mixed up comedian you’ll ever meet was literally born into an eclectic family of races that include Japanese, Black, Spanish and Caucasian to name a few. Combine that with growing up half of his life in the rough projects of Cleveland and the other in a Cuban dominated Miami and it leaves no wonder why Bobby has identity issues.
His passion for comedy is outrageously demonstrated on stage with authentic character exposés rooting from his multi-racial, multi-cultural, and of course, multi-dysfunctional background.

Damien Lemon

www.damienlemon.com

Brooklyn native D. Lemon’s (Damien Lemon) comedy career began from his seat in the back of public school classrooms over 20 years ago and continued at his college alma mater, Clark Atlanta University, where he fine-tuned his ability to make people laugh until they cough and choke. He has performed in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and was recognized as runner-up in The Funniest NYC Comedian Comedy Olympics.

In the summer of 2009, D. Lemon’s hard work propelled him into being the opening Act for comedy great Dick Gregory at Carolines on Broadway and Grammy award winning Aretha Franklin at Radio City Music Hall.
